It depends entirely on scope — a small brochure site is a very different job to a custom CMS build with API integrations. Send over a rough idea of what you need and I'll give you a straight answer rather than a vague range.
A straightforward marketing site usually runs a few weeks from sign-off to launch. Larger CMS builds or projects with backend integrations take longer — I'll give you a realistic timeline before any work starts, and keep you posted if anything changes.
Yes. Once a project is paid for in full, the code, content and any custom work built for you is yours.
If the project uses a CMS (WordPress or ProcessWire), yes — I build editor-friendly admin interfaces specifically so you're not stuck asking a developer to change a sentence of copy. For simpler static sites, I'm happy to make small updates on request or hand over instructions.
Often, yes. Whether that's the right call depends on what the existing site is built on and what state it's in — sometimes an incremental fix is genuinely the better option, and I'll tell you if I think that's the case rather than pushing for a full rebuild.
I can advise on hosting and help with setup, but I don't sell hosting packages myself — you'll own your hosting and domain accounts directly, so you're never locked in to me to keep your site online.
I stick around for a bug-fixing period after launch to catch anything that slipped through, and I'm available afterwards for ongoing maintenance, updates or new features on an as-needed basis.
Standalone. If your existing site just needs an SEO audit and a set of prioritised fixes, that's a project on its own — you don't need a full rebuild to improve your search visibility.
